GMP Drivercare Limited is a Fleet Management Company, which was formed in February 1998 emanating from Staffordshire Ambulance Services which was part of the NHS with the specific intention of providing specialist fleet management services to the Public Sector. Since then, we have been appointed to manage in excess of 10,000 vehicles with a combined value of more than £158,000,000 on behalf of various NHS Trusts, Fire Services and Authorities throughout the UK. We have been registered with the Financial Conduct Authority for the past 10 years and hold a full Credit Consumer License. In recognising the changing needs of our Public Sector Clients and their Duty Of Care responsibilities, GMP Drivercare, offer in addition to the traditional Lease Car Schemes, Salary Sacrifice Schemes, GMP Yourdrive, Green Motoring Plan and full Grey Fleet Compliance Management. Incorporated within all of the above is full Accident Management, Driving License Checks and additional Employee Benefit Schemes. In response to the Government Directives regarding the targets for the reduction of their carbon footprints, GMP has developed its own Electric Hybrid Portfolio, which will enable Trusts to reduce emissions whilst making savings to their budgets. Our proactive approach and continued investment enables us to offer a truly holistic transport solution. In October 2009 GMP Drivercare acquired Samson Vehicle Contracts who were based in Newark. This branch now operates under the GMP banner and offers the same services as our head office in Stafford. In April 2014 GMP Drivercare were chosen to be the host for Derwent Fleet Management Services which is based at our Burton-on-Trent offices thus doubling our fleet size. Another of our integrated services is GMP Autocare which has 450 affiliated vehicle service and MOT franchised dealers/centres across the UK. Thus enabling us to fully manage the service requirements of our complete fleet.
