GMS is led by Gabriele Maussner-Schouten, a respected project consultant and coach with more than 20 years of experience developing and implementing practical solutions for project management success. Her expertise managing large projects for both private and public-sector organizations ranges from mission-critical ERP implementations and content management solutions to providing leadership for major special events and support for enterprise-wide communication strategies. She also has taught strategic supply chain management at Centennial College and Humber College in Toronto. Gabriele’s clients include Norbord Industries, United van Lines, Foodbanks Canada, Dairy Farmers of Ontario, ProServeIT, Revera, UHN - Princess Margaret Hospital and its Foundation, MOHLC – Community Care Information Management, Insurance Institute of Canada, YMCA, WorldVision and several Departments of the Federal Government. Prior to working independently, Gabriele has held senior management positions in Marketing, Customer Service and Information Technology with Rio Tinto (Alcan), Siemens Medical Systems and Weyerhaeuser (Avenor). Gabriele holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and a business degree from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm in Germany. She received her PMP certification in 2005 and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (SSGBC)™ from York University. She is a registered Coach Practitioner and a member of the International Coaching Federation. She is fluently bilingual in English and German.
