ABOUT US: Originally chartered in 1935, GNO was organized by employees of the New Orleans Bell Telephone Employees Federal Credit Union. Their goal, as was the goal of all company credit unions, was to provide a safe haven for their employees to save and then borrow from that pool of savings to achieve their dreams in life. Now, flash forward – 81 years ahead to today! While a whole lot has changed in the financial world, some things still remain the same at GNO and that is our mission to continue to provide our members with the safest and most secure avenue to save and borrow – simply to give our members Better Banking.
