GoingToPlaces.com delivers everything you need—tourist attractions, accommodation, community events, and so much more—straight to your palm. It all started in 2012, when I launched a successful BnB business and learned first-hand what travellers really needed. Hosting guests, 80% of whom were international tourists, opened my eyes to a massive gap: people constantly asked for info on local services, businesses, and how to find Australia’s hidden gems. So, I stopped just answering questions—I built solutions. In August 2016, I published my first travel app, Robe SA, on the Apple and Google app stores. It was a hit. From there, things snowballed faster than a kangaroo on a downhill slope: December 2016 brought The Great Ocean Road Victoria and Kangaroo Island SA. Not long after, apps for Barossa Valley SA and the Limestone Coast joined the lineup. Fast forward to 2024, and we’ve turned those early wins into an entire digital ecosystem covering South Australia. Want the best places to eat, drink, shop, or visit? We’ve got it.
