The home of Cardiff 5 a side, Gôl is Wales’ only indigenous 5-a-side and 7-a-side company. We launched the country’s first purpose-built football facility in Cardiff in January 2006. We were also the first company in Wales to make state of the art 3G rubber crumb pitches publicly available. In our quest to provide the surrounding areas of South Wales with top quality facilities to enjoy playing football, we opened our second centre which provides 3G 5-a-side and 7-a-side pitches in Newport in November 2009 which serves the city of Newport and the East of Cardiff. Gôl’s third centre - which provides 3G 5-a-side pitches in Merthyr Tydfil - opened in September 2014. We consolidated our place as the number one Cardiff 5-a-side centre with the installation of 8 brand new state of the art pitches along with the introduction of Action Replay cameras which allows us to record and broadcast 10 games a night whilst also allowing parents to capture the magical moments from their children’s parties. The Action Replay technology has also had an impact on our much-revered Soccer Schools as our FAW-qualified coaches can now use it to review sessions and ultimately find new ways of making sure the youngsters coming through our ranks make the most of the high-quality training offered. Gôl also offers a consultancy service on monetising 3G pitches so that clubs and institutions can generate the best financial impact from their facilities on behalf of their communities.
