「金紫荊女企業家協會」是香港首批致力凝聚女企業家們的商會，創會骨幹成員由一群關心香港營商環境、自身行業發展、以及大中華拓展機遇的本地工商界、專業界別、服務業的女性企業家及高層管理人員組成。協會致力幫助會員建立香港以至大中華區營商網絡及業務發展平台，並積極發展成為香港特區政府各相關部門的諮詢橋樑。協會透過舉辦各種活動，讓會員了解香港營商環境和最新政策，並就香港特區政府的經濟政策、營商立法、中小企政策提供意見。協會現時與「廣東省女企業家協會」、「台灣女企業家協會」、「中華工商婦女企業管理協會」及「長沙市女企業家協會」簽訂合作協議，服務會員超過7,000人。協會於2016年設立「金紫荊女企業家獎」，嘉許傑出女企業家，表揚企業家精神，鼓勵更多女性創業。至今共有12位表現非凡及擁有卓越成就的大中華女企業家獲獎。為鼓勵及幫助更多未來女企業家業有所成，協會於 2016 年成立「金紫荊女企業家慈善基金」，主要為不同階層有需要的婦女提供培訓、專業意見交流及知識傳授等機會。基金會還設立了「贊助者冠名獎學金」，並開展了「未來領袖培訓計劃」，至今共 34 名來自低收入家庭、而有企業家才能的大專女學生獲得贊助並參與培訓計劃。除獎學金外，所有參與「未來領袖培訓計劃」的女學生將獲得由基金提供的培訓課程、工作坊、講座及女企業家交流活動及企業實習訓練等機會。
