About Golden Bridges Foundation

Golden Bridges Foundation builds bridges to China that strengthen the sustainability and capacity of community-based nonprofits and individuals to serve, inspire and transform lives. Since 2007, Golden Bridges has played a vital role in a number of China’s most innovative and breakthrough nonprofit projects. Highlighted accomplishments include launching the China Foundation Center (July 2010), leading the first civic-organized delegation of 50 Chinese youth climate activists to a UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen (December 2009), and organizing the Great Green Initiative - a nationwide grassroots youth campaign that mobilized 300 simultaneous events across China (October 2010). All three of these initiatives were reported in global news outlets and named a “Top 10 Civic Action of the Year” by official Chinese media.
