Golden Prairie is a premier bulk ingredient specialist for certified organic gluten-free rolled oats and millet. Ideal for celiacs, gluten-intolerant, and organic grain-loving individuals. Golden Prairie Inc. began with the Hediger family, a three-generational farm family that has been growing crops in Nunn, Colorado since 1989. When Jean and Randy had their first child, their concern about their young son’s exposure to farm chemicals led them in the direction of organic farming. In September of that year, they became one of the first certified organic farms in Colorado. With their now organic grains needing a home besides the local elevator, Golden Prairie Inc. was created. As Golden Prairie Inc. grew, the company started working with many regional, family-run, organic farms to meet demand. Today they work with over a dozen growers, incorporating more than 20,000 acres of organic gluten-free millet. They prioritize the use of best farm practices to assure a gluten-free product, from tractor to the gluten-free processing plant.
