About Goldenberg Therapy LCSW

I am a Licenced Clinical Social Worker for the states of New York, New Jersey, and Florida. I serve as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at CUNY Brooklyn College. I completed my B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Psychology, and Master in Social Work degrees at Stony Brook University. My clientele primarily consists of adults 18 and over. My experience stems from a variety of outpatient settings including schools, clinics, and private practice. I specialize in in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, relationship stress, family stress, and other life stressors. Therapy is not "one size fits all." I modify my approach based on clients' needs; however, my primary theoretical orientation is cognitive-behavioral. We establish goals at the start of our first session and work on smaller objectives in order to make tangible progress. With me, therapy is a collaborative approach.
