About Golf 9/12

GOLF 9/12 is a forward looking, non-profit organization established to rekindle the collective spirit of unity that followed the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history. GOLF 9/12 encourages people to take part in an annual day of unity by simultaneously playing golf at their local club/course the first Monday after Sept. 11. Golfers will be connected by a live mobile scoring and social networking application (provided by GOLF 9/12). A $12 donation is added to each participant’s greens fee to help fund educational programs at the Pentagon Memorial, the 911 Memorial and Flight 93 Memorial. Proceeds will also benefit the Armed Forces Foundation, the Wounded Warriors, local first responders near each club/course and Friends of Freedom Charities.
