About Good Samaritan Health Services
Good Samaritan Health Services (Good Samaritan) began providing medical care for uninsured and underserved individuals in 1998 at the Fairmont Terrace apartment complex in one of Tulsa’s highest poverty neighborhoods. Founder and President Dr. John R. Crouch, Jr. had the vision for ministering physical healing and spiritual renewal for the underserved in our community. His vision has become what Good Samaritan is today. We have served thousands of uninsured individuals living in the greater Tulsa area with quality comprehensive, holistic medical care. From the very beginning, we have partnered with local churches, which provide facilities as well as the many volunteers needed for the operation of the medical clinics. Most importantly, they offer the ministry of prayer and transformation aspects of our ministry. God is invited to be a part of each patient encounter at Good Samaritan Health Services. His love and healing touch is transforming lives every day at each medical clinic. We currently have 13 clinic locations across Tulsa and surrounding communities, including Glenpool, Mounds, Sapulpa, and Sand Springs. In 2018, our mobile medical clinics provided consistent quality life-saving healthcare at 5,584 patient visits at 470 clinics. Over 1,500 patients relied on our mobile medical clinics as their primary source of healthcare, and the medical care provided at our clinics kept 426 patients from turning to the Emergency Room for care based on our “Out of the ER” patient health criteria.
