About Good Work Coop

The Good Work Cooperative works with people and organisations to identify their goals, understand what they can do and take action together on their energy issues and sustainability so that their homes and buildings are warm and welcoming and they have more to spend on what really matters to them. Our projects include: • Fuel Poverty workshops for BVSC bringing together energy experts, community organisations and contractors, which led to the set up and funding of BrumEnergy - BrumEnergy is a team of dedicated local organisations that is committed to delivering independent, high-quality home energy advice to Birmingham residents; • Birmingham Green Doors - a series of group study visits to homes undergoing energy efficiency measures; BrumEnergy - introduction to Energy Advice for Community organisations; • Collective Climate Repair Project Evaluation - evaluating a 4 year project by Sensory Trust, in partnership with Trees for Cities, National Wildflower Centre and Edinburgh University, building on new climate science that shows how a focus on water opens new accessible routes to climate action; • BEAT Winter conference - an interactive workshop for energy advisors and activists across the West Midlands region.
