About Goodman Financial Group
The Goodman Insurance Agency started on January 1, 1919 by Leonard A. Goodman, Sr., providing both life insurance and real estate services. On January 1, 1945, the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Franchise for West Texas and New Mexico was awarded to Leonard A. Goodman, Sr. The agency was housed on the 5th floor of the Martin Building at the corner of Stanton and Mills Streets. In 1950, the offices were moved to 1504 N. Kansas St. and in 1959 they were moved into a new building at 2810 N. Stanton. In May 1972 the offices were moved to 433 Executive Center Blvd., and January 1976 they were moved again to 445 Executive Center Blvd. In February 1966, Leonard A. Goodman Sr. retired as General Agent and Leonard A. Goodman, Jr succeeded him. In January 1988 Leonard A. Goodman, III was then appointed as General Agent. The firm continued to grow and in May 1988 the offices were moved and presently reside at 201 E Main Dr. In 1992, the agency takes great pride in the fact that there are three generations of Goodman’s still working to provide reliable investments, advice, and good service to their clients and a warm, friendly atmosphere for their employees. The agency has come a long way and has today grown into a modern, advances organization capable of meeting the present as well as the future Financial Planning Services need to the people in the Southwest. The Goodman Financial group is dedicated to providing good reliable service to our clients. We further believe we have an obligation to protect and enhance the invest these clients have made through our agency and our company.
