About Gorman Gear

The idea for ATEK undershirts was born from one simple question: If undershirts are supposed to keep you cool, comfortable, and dry, why are almost all undershirts made from cotton and polyester? We then asked ourselves, why not craft undershirts using similar high-performance fabric that athletes wear to regulate body temperature and stay dry? The result was a unique and more comfortable nylon-spandex blend that stretched, breathed, and lasted better than any cotton, polyester, or bamboo blend. We took this fabric and made "the perfect fit" -- relaxed so that you can barely feel it under a shirt, but form fitting so that excess fabric would not show. We added extra length in the body so it never came untucked. In other words, we made the coolest undershirt on the planet, literally and figuratively.
