He served two combat tours in Afghanistan and lends his resiliency and ability to perform under pressure to his passion for fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle regardless of the environmental stressors of combat. After the Army, Derek attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO and received his B.S. in Health and Exercise Science. His desire to serve and help people has continued by inspiring others to live an active lifestyle that promotes youth and longevity in all things that make us happy. He worked for several years under other operations and decided to open his own business where he would go to the customer. No excuses. Fitness doesn't get any easier. So now the real life GI Joe is bringing Good Quality Fitness to his clients' doorsteps. Ultimately, GQ Fitness believes in improving the quality of health from a full body perspective. Being healthy has to include a proper training regimen that teaches efficiency in the body and modalities that heal and improve mobility along with proper nutrition that heals from the inside out and a stress management program that includes mindful and meditative practices.
