Starting out as a technical officer in the rail indsutry, he discovered his passion for water and the environment whilst studying for his degree in civil engineering. Following graduation, he moved over to the water industry and has never looked back. George is a consultant with a contracting background, giving him a hands-on approach to design and the ability to ensure that all his designs are safe, practical and cost-effective to implement. Whilst his degree is in civil engineering, George’s contracting experience included over a decade in the management of multi-disciplinary teams including chemical, mechanical, electrical and controls engineers. This allows him to plan and design water and wastewater projects in intricate detail, from concept through to commissioning.
