Welcome to Grace By Example (GBE) We are a nonprofit organization helping to rebuild homes—and restore lives—in Western North Carolina following the devastation of Hurricane Helene. GBE organizes financial resources and coordinates efforts to provide direct support to homeowners and homebuilders in small communities across the region, including—but not limited to—the South Toe River Community, the Pensacola Community along the Cane River, and Egypt Ramsey Town and Bee Log, two of the hardest-hit areas by the storm.
