About Grace Center Foundation

Grace Center Foundation supports Grace Center for Children and Families, located in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. The Grace Center is a holistic approach to helping impoverished families and orphaned and underprivileged children and is served by missionary husband and wife teams Marcie Erickson and Sefinew Birhan and Andrew and Deanna Knife. In a town where there is such a great need, Grace Center is able to offer help and show the face and love of Christ. Through a holistic approach these are some of the ways Grace Center helps families: Child Sponsorship - Provides the opportunity for impoverished families with the ability to stay together as a family. Temporary Care - Provides the opportunity for families undergoing severe trials to have a temporary home for their children. Day Care Center - Offers single women another option other than to abandon their children. Feeding Program - Providing nourishment for the malnourished. After School Program - Provides tutoring for children ages five and above. Hope Memorial Medical Clinic - Offers free medical care to those in desperate need. Womenâs Empowerment, Jobs and Training - Assists families in becoming self-sufficient through childcare, basket weaving, jewelry making and other skills, training and employment. Childrenâs Home - A home for abandoned and orphaned children. Prison Outreach - For children who are in prison because of their mothers, Grace Center assists these children with clothing, education, crafts, and other needs.
