About Grace Kitchen
Grace Kitchen is a global initiative to feed the homeless and needy throughout the world. We are working to alleviate the hunger of the most impoverished members of our society. We consider food to be a gift of life which should be made available to all. By the same measure, we believe that the imperative to help lies directly within the capacity and ability of each one of us. Truly, the whole world is but one family. It is this conviction which unites our volunteers, of all occupations and backgrounds, and compels them to act, distributing self-prepared meals regularly to the homeless and needy in their local communities. Above all, we strive to break through layers of social inequality and forge heartfelt connections founded on love and compassion. Our experiences only reaffirm our common humanity with the people we serve and, at the same time, highlight the gravity of the situation that confronts us. This is not charity.
