As a family-owned manufacturer producing quality joinery since 1979, Grady has established a reputation for delivering right first time solutions to the new build and replacement residential sectors. With the important changes in fire door safety legislation in the years following the Grenfell disaster, our engineers and designers focused attention on developing products which fully meet these requirements. These designs were tested to EN 1634-1 for Fire Integrity and Insulation and EN 1634-3 for smoke control at specialist notified fire testing laboratories The result is our Golden Thread range of fire doorsets. All our fire doorset designs are fully accredited and are manufactured through ISO9001 processes at our state-of-the-art facilities. Grady have combined traditional craft skills with technology to deliver the very best fire door solution on the market at a competitive price. They are fully certified and approved for the manufacture of internally and externally located security front entrance timber fire doors. All timber sourced by Grady meets the requirements of PEFC/FSC and are 3rd party certified by BM-Trada to these standards. We believe our doorsets offer the best in quality, traceability and most importantly, safety. We have a first rate logistics operation, ensuring that whether we are providing the installation or acting on a supply-only basis the right doorset is delivered to the right place at the right time. Grady can evidence primary burn test data for the entire range. This range of fire doors have also been subjected to smoke testing and a range of other testing to ensure compliance with the requirements of Secure By Design.
