About Grampian Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre
The Grampian Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre is one of more than 60 centres across the country aiming to improve the quality of life of people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Our centre opened in 1983 to provide oxygen therapy for people with MS in the north east of Scotland and our services have expanded to offer reflexology, physiotherapy and massage to our clients. We treat other conditions, including fibromyalgia, cancer, burns and sports injuries. We also provide advice and support to all who attend the centre, their families and carers in a friendly and welcoming environment. The centre does not receive government funding and is entirely dependent on donations for its survival. The centre works on the basis of self-referral. You do not need to be referred by a healthcare professional in order to access treatments and services. Clients can choose one or a selection of therapies to manage their symptoms in a way that they find works best for them. The centre exists to help people with MS and other neurological conditions to continue to live as normal a life as possible. We try to fit appointments in at times to suit our clients. The centre is open Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm.
