"Grand Candy" company was founded in 2000 by Hrant Vardanyan. By launching new workshops and increasing the number of work places, production and sales volumes year by year, the products of "Grand Candy" company have a significant position in the confectionery market of the Republic of Armenia. Due to efficiently organized production, in a short period of time, "Grand Candy" company has taken its strong position in the market, offering the consumers already well-known traditional, as well as new products unique for the local market. High-quality packaging and raw materials are used in production, and the industrial process is carried out on the modern European-made equipment. Currently, "Grand Candy" company, with about 23 hectares of industrial area, produces more than 400 products. Moreover, "Grand Candy" company carries out the printing of all materials and labels necessary for confectionery packaging and the production of containers in its own printing house and plastic container workshop. "Grand Candy" is the only company in the region that processes cocoa beans. Being the largest employer in the food industry of the Republic of Armenia, having more than 3000 employees, at the same time, "Grand Candy" company is one of the largest taxpayers in the production sphere in the Republic of Armenia. "Grand Candy" company has 21 stores in Yerevan. "Grand Candy" company produces more than 50 products under the "JOYCO" trademark, exporting them to more than 40 countries of the world, as well as presenting the trademark “JOYCO” at international exhibitions. Due to intensive use, acquired distinctiveness and wide popularity among consumers, since 2002 the "GRAND CANDY" trademark and since 2017 the "JOYCO" trademark have been recognized as well-known by the competent state authority of the Republic of Armenia.
