About Grand Junction Area REALTOR® Association

The Grand Junction Area REALTORS® Association, generally referred to as GJARA, has been a fixture in the Grand Valley since its inception in 1930. It functions as the primary real estate trade association in Mesa County representing Professional and Affiliate members of the National Association of REALTORS®. GJARA, owns and operates its own Multi Listing Service, (MLS), aggregating, managing, and providing member access to a robust database of residential, commercial, properties available for sale, purchase or rent. Its primary role is providing members with a platform for compensation and cooperation, access to listing data, continuing education, and maintaining a fair and ethical environment for real estate transactions. The association also acts as an advocate for its members on issues that impact the right to hold, sell and enjoy personal property. This advocacy focuses on the Western Slope, locally in Mesa County, Grand Junction, Fruita. The Association represents the region statewide in concert with the Colorado Association of REALTORS® and nationally with NAR.
