About GrandChêne Section Internationale

We are a British International Section offering bilingual education programmes from Grande Section to Terminale (5 to 18 yo) in the western Paris region of the Yvelines (78). Founded in 2002 and previously known as the Section Internationale La Celle Saint-Cloud - Noisy-Le-Roi, our name changed to GrandChêne Section Internationale in September 2024. We continue to be a private, parent-led association committed to academic excellence through a student-centric approach, supported by a vibrant English-speaking community. Our affordable bilingual programmes are integrated into the French public school system, with a 100% success rate on the Baccalauréat Français Internationale (BFI). We offer the possibility of year-round admissions into our six partner schools in La Celle Saint-Cloud and Noisy-le-Roi. Our aim is to enrich our students’ education by providing them with a bilingual, bi-cultural approach to their studies. We focus on enabling each child to achieve his or her potential in English, in tandem and in complement to their French national curriculum studies, equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed in a global society. Our programmes run in the following partner schools: - Pasteur Primary School, La Celle-Saint-Cloud: Grande Section to CM2 - Collège Louis Pasteur, La Celle-Saint-Cloud: 6ème to 3ème - Lycée Corneille, La Celle-Saint-Cloud: 2nde to Terminale - Jules Verne Primary School, Noisy-le-Roi: CM1 and CM2 - Collège Jean-Baptiste de la Quintinye, Noisy-le-Roi: 6ème to 3ème GrandChêne also offers English classes, called Anglais Après la Classe (AALC), for French children wishing to increase their exposure to the English language.
