About Granite Engineering
Founded in 2019, a new partnership of professional engineers in the Manchester Millyard, fittingly named Granite Engineering, LLC, provides complete cost-effective civil engineering design, land planning, and municipal services. Jeffrey Merritt, P.E. and Brenton Cole, P.E. combine for nearly 30 years of land development experience across the state. Equipped with the latest industry software, Granite Engineering can efficiently convert your land development concepts to reality. With a client-driven focus, the company aims to provide guidance as early as the property selection phase to maximize potential land use options. Past industry experience includes commercial, industrial, and residential site plans, subdivisions, roadway design, and the associated local, state, and federal permitting. Large projects personally designed and managed by the founders of Granite Engineering include several large condominium developments, apartment complexes, conventional and open space subdivisions with thousands of feet of roadway design, and large commercial and industrial buildings. On a smaller scale, Jeffrey and Brenton are experienced to provide septic designs, wetland impact permits, shoreland impact permits, construction inspections, and any other permit or design associated with State and local regulations. Company partners are well-known in the industry and have significant experience with municipal board presentations and public hearings. Granite Engineering is devoted to the responsible development of the greater Manchester community, including service as the Vice Chair of the Manchester Conservation Commission. They are invested in the communities they provide service in and hope to continue building relationships throughout New England.
