About Granite State Children's Alliance
A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization accredited by the National Children’s Alliance (NCA), the Granite State Children’s Alliance (GSCA) operates four Child Advocacy Centers (CACs), directly serving New Hampshire children in Belknap, Cheshire and Hillsborough counties. We also serve as the NH chapter of NCA, providing technical assistance, training, and organizational resources to all CACs in the Granite State. Our mission is to provide all victims of child abuse in NH a neutral environment where justice, healing, equity and prevention are fostered through the consistent, high-quality and sustaining collaboration of community partners. We believe every child deserves to feel safe and cared for, with the stability and emotional support needed to grow into a happy, successful adult. When a child becomes a victim of abuse or neglect, they must feel heard and believed. It’s crucial they know they can overcome their trauma and achieve their potential. Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility. We play an integral part in providing justice, healing, and hope to children impacted by abuse or neglect, collaborating with public and private organizations at every level to coordinate child abuse investigations and provide ongoing support for victims and their families. Our comprehensive services include family support, ongoing case coordination, and referrals for behavioral health and specialized medical exams. Our evidence-based forensic interviews are conducted by highly trained professionals and designed to be child-friendly and trauma-sensitive, ensuring a neutral environment that validates children’s experiences. We offer education and training to empower individuals to recognize, report, and prevent abuse. Child abuse inflicts deep and enduring wounds, but with timely intervention, support, and counseling, children can learn to cope and heal. Together with our dedicated staff, volunteers, supporters, and partners, we amplify children’s voices.
