About Grant Pro Group

Growing up in a tight-knit blue-collar family, I was instilled with the values of hard work and perseverance, which guided me through self-financing my education. My journey into the philanthropic sector began with several internships in diverse locations like Costa Rica, Minnesota, and Washington State. These experiences deepened my understanding of environmental and community issues, leading me to manage a grant program funded by the sale of sport and commercial fishing licenses focused on river and salmon habitat restoration. My grant writing career further evolved during my 10+ years at the Boys & Girls Club, where I honed my skills in developing and managing grants. This extensive experience and the realization that many organizations struggle to navigate the complex landscape of grant acquisition inspired me to found Grant Pro Group in 2013. I saw a clear need for a more supportive approach that would empower nonprofits, tribes, and municipalities to secure essential funding. Grant Pro Group offers robust grant development services, including grant exploration, application, compliance navigation, and sponsorship acquisition. We are dedicated to building the capacity of our clients to secure and manage grants independently, ensuring they are equipped to sustain their funding and impact. Our work includes notable projects like the Senior Mobile Health Clinics, which won the Community Foundation of Utah's Social Innovation Forum competition in 2014, providing essential health services to over 300 underserved seniors annually.
