About Grant Shepherd & Associates
Grant Shepherd & Associates, Inc. was founded on January 6, 1991 by Mr. Seaton Grant Shepherd, Jr., Registered Land Surveyor as a Sole Proprietorship company preparing Georgia Boundary surveys and ALTA/ACSM surveys in conjunction with construction stakeout on various projects throughout the State of Georgia. The company was incorporated on January 2, 1996 with the officers being Mrs. Lynne M. Shepherd as President and co-owner and Mr. Grant Shepherd as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. On January 2, 2007 Mr. William G. Shepherd was added to the Board as Secretary and Director of Surveying and Planning. Our company was founded on the premise of providing professional Land Surveying services and Land Planning Services to our clients. Our Business Plan identifies the key initiatives whereby we measure and monitor our progress on achieving our corporation’s four strategic objectives: * Instill confidence and maintain the integrity of the land title survey systems of Georgia . * Preserve and enhance the core business. * Develop new lines of business in response to customer’s needs. * Ensure the right structure, people and tools for the effective operation of our company. We are currently pursuing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the State of Georgia as the company is 51% woman owned.
