About Grasse Zur Composite Testing
Grasse Zur Composite Testing specialises in the testing of fibre-reinforced plastics and operates a material testing laboratory accredited according to ISO 17025 at its Berlin site. In addition, the company develops reference test fixtures for materials testing, sells the online process control system US-Plus® and offers professional seminars on all aspects of composite testing. The company was founded in 2011 as a spin-off of the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). Initially, the focus of the company's activities was on the development of testing equipment. Since 2013 it has been operating a material testing laboratory, which was accredited in 2018. In 2016, professional seminars were added to the portfolio, which take place in the in-house seminar room and are held by renowned lecturers from both industry and research. In the same year, the ultrasonic technology division of Sensor- und Lasertechnik SLT was taken over. The US-Plus® technology was developed together with BAM, scientifically validated and has been established in the automotive and aviation industries for over twenty years. At Grasse Zur Composite Testing, the quality of material testing for fibre-reinforced plastics is the top priority. The entire team works together to continuously improve the processes in order to achieve a consistently high quality of material testing. This includes, in particular, achieving the best test results with the lowest possible standard deviations, testing according to in-house work instructions that clearly exceed the minimum specifications specified in the respective test standards, fast and proactive communication with the customer and adherence to delivery reliability with maximum flexibility and fair prices at the same time.
