Welcome to a realm where Art, Science and Spirit collide. The idea is to purposefully use art to stimulate our brains and emotional responses. Art from Grateful Heartist delves into deep emotions, wrapped in a candy package of bright and vibrant colors. While the art is visually beautiful on the surface, diving in and unfolding the story for yourself is where the magic begins to occur. Within each piece there is a generalized theme or story, often relating to common human experiences. As the viewer interprets the art and creates their own story in their mind, based on their own experiences, they begin to stimulate their prefrontal cortex (thinking) as well as their Lambic (emotional) systems with intent. That all sounds neat, but how does it relate to me, you ask? Think of art as a key, it unlocks a specific part of your brain, perhaps one that has trauma or grief or joy; by opening it up, allowing youself to process what arises, stress or anxiety or overexcitement can balance out. When you begin to balance, you breath deeper and your body, mental and emotional health all respond.
