Gre8 offers a range of contracted logistics services at our Dandenong warehouse including storage, sorting, picking, packing, de branding, quality checking & despatching etc. Gre8’s partnership with Foodbank provides a hub in Melbourne’s South East where registered foodbank agencies make collections of donated foods. Gre8 offers employment opportunities to school-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SBAT) in a range of industries including warehousing, horticulture, food processing and catering operations, at our sites and with our host partners such as the City of Greater Dandenong and Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust. SBAT’s are mentored in real workplaces to gain experience, skills and knowledge that enable future employment. Gre8 provides a registered NDIS funded school leavers employment support service (SLES). ‘CapableMe’ is the program that empowers young people with a disability to prepare for employment post-school and improve capacity to independence. Gre8 has established a hands-on food production operation ‘Make n Bake’ which employs SBAT’s to manufacture a range of bakery items while developing transferrable skills and knowledge to improve employment opportunities post-school. Our bakery goods can be ordered online and are typically suited to fundraising events for both community and corporate.
