About Great Southern Runs
Organising events that runners love since 2016, Great Southern Runs was born out of a passion for running and delivering premium events across the beautiful McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Peninsula region of South Australia. We pride ourselves in only organising races that we would love to run in ourselves. Our events, including the McLaren Vale Marathon, Great Southern Bolt and Victor Harbor Half Marathon are curated to the highest standards and are built around the most scenic courses to ensure that our runners will always have a run to remember. “Putting Runners First” is central to everything we do which is why you will enjoy an outstanding experience in the lead up to race day, during your run and after you finish. We are proud to showcase the beauty of our coastline, forests and rural landscape of our region with visiting runners, and work in partnership with local tourism and hospitality business to encourage everyone to come for the run and stay a while longer to enjoy everything that the area has to offer.
