About Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Chamber is to promote an environment of goodwill and prosperity among the businesses, citizens, and community organizations in the greater Hewitt area. The organization will strive to foster, protect and promote the commercial, industrial, civic, agricultural and general interests of the greater Hewitt community. The chamber also offers annual scholarships to local students acquired from annual fundraising events. The Greater Hewitt Chamber is composed of local business leaders and volunteers dedicated to developing business opportunity and serving residents of the greater Hewitt community. The office operates out of one of the oldest buildings in Hewitt- the Historic Train Depot. At the depot, residents and visitors are offered a variety of information pieces to assist with establishing a solid connection to the greater Hewitt area. Hewitt, TX is known for quiet neighborhoods and low crime rate, which creates an attractive environment to live, work and play. The Greater Hewitt Chamber takes on challenges that business owners face in a changing economy, as well as provides opportunities for business development and partnerships to improve the local workforce. Networking and business education opportunities are offered year-round; on average, the Hewitt Chamber coordinates up to four events each month.
