GREEN AQUA Company is an investment group specialized in algae production units. We are committed to becoming a worldwide reference on sustainable investment projects in the aquatic and marine biotechnology sector. Our primary objective is to create a complete ecosystem that offers integrated solutions for the development of this sector. Our range of products and services includes microalgae and macroalgae for various applications, including food, feed, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, biostimulants, biofuels, and new materials, including bioplastics. Our main projects are ALGATEC and BIOFAT.PT. Promoted by GREEN AQUA Póvoa, in partnership with A4F and HyChem, ALGATEC is a 14-hectare Eco Business Park designed to welcome companies and projects in the algae and microalgae sector. BIOFAT.PT is the largest microalgae production project in Europe. Located in the ALGATEC, it is a unique concept in Portugal and pioneer in Europe, that integrates a biorefinery for the production of vegetable protein and Omega-3 rich oils. At GREEN AQUA Vagos, we are developing the BIOFÁBrica project, which aims to produce and biorrefine Fucus vesiculosus, for commercial applications in the food industry, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. Green Aqua Vagos is also commited to the production of other seaweed species such as Ulva sp., Gracilaria sp. and Porphyra sp. GREEN AQUA Equipments provides tailored solutions to research and development groups, technical and demonstration plants. We specialize in custom and turnkey solutions under tailor-made financial contracts, guaranteeing added value support.
