Green Asphalt's material is primarily made out of 100% reclaimed asphalt pavement, a vital factor that sets us aside from our competitors. When choosing recycled asphalt, there are many environmental benefits, such as preventing valuable materials from going into landfills and reducing the transport of materials in and out of the city. By using RAP, both our company and customers are protecting the future of our environment by reducing the carbon footprint one ton at a time. Green Asphalt currently produces type 3 binder, 6F HD and 6F RA top. We also readily accept clean broken asphalt and millings. We do not acquire additional aggregates through mining or using virgin liquid asphalt and can assure you that our material has proven to perform equally durable to virgin material. To ensure production of the best material, our team is continuously working hard to maintain superior quality assurance along with great customer service. Green Asphalt is recognized for being the first asphalt plant in the U.S. to be approved by state and local agencies, to produce fully recycled material. Our plant is approved by the NYS DOT and various local municipalities in NY, in addition to NYC Department of Design and Construction. Providing services to companies and projects all throughout New York City, our material contributes LEED credits, are sustainable by any standard, and offer CO2e offset credits for Green Projects.
