EV charging today is based on electricity from 100% sun & wind. And your EV also magically charges on a windless night. How it works? It doesn't. The electricity system in most countries is a mix of fossil-free (sun, wind, hydro, nuclear, geothermal, biomass) and fossil (coal, oil, natural gas) electricity sources. The goal of the energy transition is to achieve a fossil-free electricity network by 2050. Until then, when you charge your EV, the fossil-free share of the electricity you consume will mostly depend on the weather! Our mission: to offer you the choice of fossil-free EV charging. Now.
