About Green Connexion (PTY)

Green Connexion is a social enterprise that seeks to advance youth and women entrepreneurs to solve societal challenges that improve the lives and livelihoods of communities in which they operate. Our mission is to holistically empower women build sustainable communities to meet selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We focus on SDG 4 - Education; SDG 5- Gender Equality; SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 10 - Reduced Inequalities. It is facilitated as follows: SDG 4 - EDUCATION of primary and high learners; employees, SMMEs and companies about Climate Change and its devastating affects on the earth, to encourage good habits across all sectors of the population, particularly at grass roots level where the need is most dire. SDG 5 - GENDER EQUALITY - Economic empowerment of women is a prerequisite for sustainable development, pro-poor growth and the achievement of inclusive economies, hence our focus is on women across all sectors of our economy SDG 8 - DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH - We design business opportunities for women entrepreneurs to be taken up in the communities where they are based and assist existing women owned businesses to grow sustainable businesses. This is facilitated through training, mentorship and coaching. Resulting in the growth of township economies and diversification of corporate supply chains. SDG 10 - REDUCED INEQUALITIES - Our work will result in reduced inequalities and the creation of more inclusive societies and most importantly the development of women.
