Next Generation Industrial Cooling Towers-- Green Cooling Tower Solutions (GCTS) has introduced a patented induced draft modular cooling tower that uses NO ELECTRICTY to power the fan. Instead, it uses the water flow and pressure, already present in processes. By eliminating the traditionally needed electrical infrastructure, GCTS drives out the cost of electricity AND eliminates the components most likely to cause outages and/or require maintenance. More importantly, GCTS cooling towers run at a greater efficiency. The increased cooling efficiency enables industrial operations to increase production, even in hot summer months, when conventional towers are unable to provide optimal cooling without significant energy penalties. In February 2013, GCTS successfully completed its 4th year of field testing with remarkable results, at a major petrochemical refinery in Southern United States. A 7-cell tower was replaced with a 2-cell Green Cooling Tower. Without the need for electric motors to run the cooling fans, electricity cost, associated circuits and wiring was eliminated, along with gearboxes and other infrastructure. The new CGTS, 2-cell cooling tower is delivering increased cooling capacity with fewer cells, has maintained production levels, and performed maintenance-free since its installation.
