About Green Rhino Media

Green Rhino Media was founded by entrepreneur parents Brett and Diana Swain. And, as any good story goes… Once-upon-a-time, they decided to embark on a life-changing sailing adventure around the Mediterranean. Before they left, they set up a publishing business that they could run from anywhere in the world – even at sea. After Brett sold his IT service and support business, and Diana left her marketing role at a travel company, they swapped land for sea and began a new journey with their two young sons. They sold everything they owned and bought a sailboat… in Croatia… and spent the next six months exploring the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea, even crossing over to Italy to fulfill a lifelong dream of sailing into Venice. Their voyage provided lots of inspiration for their stories. They even plan to write a book about the sailing adventure that sparked a new passion for telling stories, and documenting experiences – both glorious and tumultuous – to share with others. These days you’ll find the Green Rhino Media team settled back on land in cosmopolitan Melbourne, Australia. They currently write and produce books they’ve written themselves across various genres including playful children’s early-learning board books (Spunky Monkey series), chapter books that are perfect for reluctant readers and children seeking fun, adventure stories (Jack Jones series), an in-progress fun, space adventure series, and a mysterious island series centered around four castaways for a Young Adult audience, as well as adult fiction in contemporary fantasy (The Last Heiress series) and fast-paced, spy-action/thriller novels (Ryan Hayes series).
