About Green River Regenerative Farm

Green River Regenerative Farm is a joint venture between Understanding Ag, LLC and Genea GmbH. We currently produce apples, blueberries, lamb, and pork, but will soon be adding beef, eggs, chicken, raspberries, chestnuts, hickory nuts, honey, cherries, herbaceous and woody native plant seeds, plugs, and pots. We use the Six Principles of Soil Health, Three Rules of Adaptive Stewardship, and Four Ecosystem Processes(TM), the 6-3-4(TM), to guide our management decisions. One mission of Green River Regenerative Farm is to create a rubric for training professional regenerative agriculture producers, Master Regenerative Farmers and Ranchers, modeled on the German guild system of training trade professionals. This effort is to help provide a well educated and well trained professional workforce well equipped to farm and ranch regeneratively on their own behalf or as managers for other companies, work in the various verification programs in the regenerative food and products supply chain, or to work on the demand side of the regenerative food and products supply chain as buyers, and in consumer education.
