Green Roots, an award winning Nursery & Pre-School is based on a holistic approach to childcare that involves the whole family. Fresh air and exercises supports healthy physical development, team building and social situations, so we provide the freedom for children to explore outside in our award winning garden. We support each child’s individual needs to help them learn and grow by providing them with time, space and inspiring resources to thrive in a happy and positive environment. We also work with parents to ensure mutual support in caring for their child. Our expectations and clear, achievable boundaries encourage positive behaviour so that children will be courteous to one another, enabling them to make good friends and develop empathy. We endeavour to look at things from the child’s point of view, to emphasise with them and allow them to achieve their own identity. This helps them learn good social manners, that grow strong roots for their future.
