Founded in 2004, Greencare H2O has grown at a rapid rate to become one of the largest suppliers of green mains fed water coolers in Europe. Greencare H2O enables organisations to filter, chill and dispense tap water through mains-fed water coolers. By eradicating the need for water bottles we help companies reduce the operational cost of providing drinking water while helping to reduce carbon emissions. It also enables organisations to encourage water consumption for the benefit of their employees' health and productivity without incurring significant additional costs. By talking passionately to businesses about how using Greencare H2O water coolers can help reduce their carbon footprint we hope that, in our own small way, we can help reduce the risk of global warming getting worse. We also love water........ and we love the fact that drinking lots of water helps you stay fit and healthy. By promoting the benefits of drinking fresh filtered tap water, especially in schools, we hope to leave people feeling better about themselves! The transportation of bottled water generates 35,000 tons of carbon dioxide each year in the UK. In the US its 1/2 million tons. The situation is ridiculous, and only in the 80s did we think it was right to transport poor quality water thousands of miles for human consumption. While the UK has some of the best drinking water in the world on tap, hundreds of children die each day due to poor water sanitisation. Greencare operates the Greencare Foundation which provides clean water for the children of Uganda.
