GreenSTEM Education | Igniting Futures Through STEM GreenSTEM Education is an Australian not-for-profit charity that exists to break down barriers to STEM learning and unlock the unlimited potential of young people through hands-on, real-world, and industry-connected experiences. Based in Tasmania and operating nationally, we empower students, schools, and communities—especially those in regional, remote, and underserved areas—to design, build, code, invent, and race their way into a future shaped by innovation, creativity, and opportunity. We are the national licensee of the Greenpower program, a global initiative that challenges students to design, build, and race electric vehicles. As the national home of Greenpower Australia, we’re driving change in STEM education—literally and figuratively. Our programs include: Greenpower (F24 and Goblin): International electric vehicle engineering and racing for primary and secondary students. FIRST LEGO League: Supporting teams across Tasmania through regional events, loan libraries, and coaching support. STEM Unlimited: Free weekly access to transformative STEM opportunities for young people aged 10–16. STEM on Track: After-school karting meets engineering, introducing students to mechanics, motorsport, and STEM careers. Game Lab: A hands-on game design and coding program aligned with the Australian STEM Video Game Challenge. BIG Science Fair: Tasmania’s largest in-person science fair, engaging students in science, engineering, and creative technology. Our award-winning team includes nationally recognised educators, engineers, and industry mentors. We partner with schools, governments, charities, and industry leaders to ensure every young person—no matter where they live or what school they attend—can access a future powered by STEM.
