About Greenwich Strategy

Until recently our LinkedIn page said “Greenwich Strategy is a boutique management consulting firm based in Providence, RI, founded in 1997 by former Bain & Co. consultants.” We’ve recently downsized to the echelon of mom & pop. Literally, as mom (Beth) and pop (Chris) are married. To make things even more interesting mom got her MBA at Stanford, and pop got his at Harvard. In spite of all this we remain happily married. Over the past few decades we’ve hired, trained and graduated many dozens of bright young people. (We call them kids.) If you do a LinkedIn search you will surely be impressed at the career attainments and other accomplishments of our graduates. But we’re done with the kids phase. (On a personal note, we’re not only done with the kids phase at work, but at home too; our son and daughter have also recently left the nest.) And so now we strictly do “lite” research projects—market studies, the essence of which is interviewing industry participants to learn about…whatever it is we get hired to learn about. Pizzerias, semiconductors, water well drilling, battery-electric vehicles, commercial dishwashing machines, and on and on. Perhaps you’ve gotten an email or phone message from us, inviting you to contribute your views to the industry we’re presently studying. If so, we dearly hope you’ll participate! We try to be very selective in whom we reach out to, so if we’ve reached out to you, it was not accidental. On our website we answer commonly asked questions folks have before deciding to speak with us. Things like who hires us and why; what we want to ask your thoughts about; what we’ll give you in thanks for your time and thoughts (i.e., a 30-minute phone conversation), and privacy considerations you would understandably have.
