About Greenwood Metropolitan District
GMD protects public health & the environment through wastewater treatment in Greenwood, SC. We maintain 378 miles of sewer, 8500 manholes, 35 pump stations, service over 14,000 customers and treat approximately 3.22 billion gallons of wastewater per year at the Wilson Creek and West Alexander Wastewater Treament Plants.
