Grenpay's carbon neutral shopping solution first calculates the carbon footprint of a business customer's goods. Through a technical solution integrated into the business customer's e-shop, the meaning, value and environmental impact of the product's footprint is explained to the consumer. It will then offer the possibility to neutralise the carbon footprint of the purchased goods themselves. Once the customer has completed the purchase transaction and expressed his or her willingness to go carbon neutral, a digital certificate with a unique ID is issued in the Grenpay environment. We offer full transparency and show exactly which project the contribution goes to, avoiding double- selling and greenwashing of carbon credits.
