About Gresham's
Gresham’s is proud to introduce Hong Kong’s first ever midmarket auction house to the public. Director Stephen Freeman aptly named the company after his ancestor Sir Thomas Gresham, the 16th century founder of the Royal Exchange and Gresham’s College in London. Sir Gresham was a successful merchant, following the path of other successful merchants in his family. The name Gresham translates into ‘grass-farm’ hence our logo – a grass hopper, which can also be found above Gresham’s College coat of arms. This long-standing heritage is what forms the basis of pride and passion in our company. Our company aims to bring the enjoyment of an auction to the general public, whilst maintaining a paramount service that ensures satisfaction to both buyers and sellers.
