About Greys Amores

Greys Amores began over 15 years ago in Vero Beach, Florida, when my mother returned from Ecuador with a suitcase full of tagua jewelry and a mission to support the artisans who made them. What started as a small, heartfelt effort soon grew into a business rooted in community, tradition, and purpose. Those first artisan partners not only created the original pieces she sold—they also became mentors, teaching both my mother and me the art of working with tagua and traditional handweaving techniques. Their generosity and knowledge laid the foundation for everything we do. Today, we continue to collaborate with artisans across Ecuador—from the highlands of Otavalo to the coastal province of Manabí and the Amazonian region of Puerto Francisco de Orellana—always buying directly at the fair prices they set. Every piece is crafted with care, using materials like sun-cured tagua and organic dyes made from beets, turmeric, and blackberries. Over the years, our work has found its way into the hands and homes of clients who share our values—from environmental nonprofits like the Sea Turtle Conservancy to beloved institutions like McKee Botanical Garden. At Greys Amores, every item tells a story—of heritage, sustainability, and the kind of connection that bridges cultures and generations.
