Greystones Aviation Components is one of the largest and longest serving registered Rotorcraft AMO's in South Africa. Registered in 1989 AMO 141 is responsible for Aviation maintenance for Rotor wing Aircraft (helicopters) and Fixed Wing Fuel Component Systems. GAC is responsible for all areas of aircraft maintenance including a public Heliport ,Hangarage ,A/c tracking, Flight and line Maintenance, Full MPI's ,Total Rebuilds,206 Airframe Components Overhauls ,206 Eng repairs up to Overhaul and Honeywell Fuel System Overhauls. Our Aircraft coverage includes R22, R44, 206 Series, AS-350, BK-105, and BK-117. Our large customer Base includes Civilian-Private owners, Commercial Charter and Flying Schools and Maintenance Facilities. Parastatal- South African Police. Government-South African Airforce Force and Domestic Airline carrier South African Airlink. As a Honeywell AWARS (Authorized Warranty and Repair Station) for Southern Africa and surrounding Islands our services and responsibilities for Honeywell Fuel Systems include Rolls-Royce 250 Series , Pratt and Whitney PT-6 Series and the Lycoming LTS-101 Series . As an approved Breeze Eastern Overhaul Shop for Southern Africa and surrounding Islands our services and responsibilities for Rescue Hoist Overhauls include the HS-20200 Series and the BL-29700 Series. As an approved Weldon Pump Overhaul Shop for Southern Africa and surrounding Islands our services and responsibilities for Weldon Fuel pumps Overhauls include those fitted to Fixed Wing Aircraft and Rotor Wing.
