GRIDCONSTRCUT Ltd. carry out all external works necessary for new development of Housing, Supermarkets and industrial units. This includes remediation, roads, sewers, services, foundations, car parks, paving and landscaping. We also carry out substantial works to existing highways in order to provide access to new sites such as new roundabouts, road widening and offsite drainage. We are happy to operate as a Main Contractor when required and this is often useful for our Client’s at the beginning of a housing project or where we are carrying out works to existing highways. We employ a stable loyal and committed workforce, with a very low staff turnover and this is crucial in enabling us to provide a good quality service to our clients. We own the majority of the plant and equipment which we use and this has given us the flexibility to remain competitive in the current difficult economic climate. We also monitor our safety performance on all sites and report the findings to our clients. We employ a specialist maintenance crew which enables us to react quickly when minor works are required by our clients We aim to anticipate our Clients’ requirements and to be as flexible and co-operative as possible, both in the way we carry out the work and in the interpretation of the contract. The quality of the services we provide is demonstrated in that over 90% of our work is repeat business. Our activities include: - Site Clearance - Remediation Works - Construction of new Adopted Roads and Sewers. (Section 278 and 104 Works) - Substructures (Trench Fill, Piled, Rafts, Ground Improved) - Reinforced concrete basements with podium slab. - Roads, footpaths and car parks. - Bridges and Culverts. - Retaining Structures - Storm water Attenuation Systems - Drainage - Services - Hard and soft landscaping
